Walter van Rijn

Eternal Body of Man (2004) Study for TV installation ©the artist
I like to work with what is there, good or bad and to use all the materials that are available. To question my experience: how do I make sense of this world?
Walter van Rijn's background in Dutch landscape architecture and shamanism has shaped his multi media installations. He has created a series of installations, called EBOM or Eternal Body of Man. His recent work is focussed on dialogue between drawing and digital audio-visual technologies. Walter is currently studying at the Winchester School of Art (MA Fine Art by Project) funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council
