The focus on my work is on displacement and ambivalence. It is based on the fragmented and vulnerable state of human condition and the materials which use aim to emphasize this fundamental concern. Some of my work is also based on the theme of contemplation and meditation.
My origins are Eastern European. I was a painter for many years but in 1993 I was able to undertake formal training. My aim was to develop understanding of present relevant issues in cotemporary art practice. I have since then gained MA in Fine Art at Brighton University and BA. Hons at Chichester University college.
