I have an eclectic, intuitive approach to amassing different materials with which to work. My work tends to be in the exploration of visual and verbal remnants. Detritus from everyday living, whether found in the street or of a more personal nature, surfaces that have faded and disintegrated through age. I often use paper in my work, and treat it by leaving it outside for several weeks, causing erosion and patterns of decay, a shifting process which makes me aware of residual impressions. I look at how things are marked and by what they are marked with.

Anne is currently studying for an MA having gained a BA Hons in Fine Art from the University of Chichester in 2002, her degree show work was  chosen to be exhibited at West Dean College during its’ summer exhibition.
