Artists Access to Art Colleges

The AA2A (Artists Access to Art Colleges) project offers artists and designer-makers the opportunity to undertake a period of research or realise a project using art college facilities.These include workshops, IT (Information Technology) facilities, lending library and lecture programme.

Access is free, for at least 100 hours, between October 2008 and April 2009 and a materials/travel grant of £220 is available.

Closing dates for applications will be between 1-22 September 2008.

Applicants must have at least one year of professional practice and should be able to work with minimal technical support. Artists on AA2A schemes run from 2005-2006 or before can reapply.

AA2A particularly welcomes applications from applicants with disabilities, from culturally diverse backgrounds and non-graduates.
